On some days,

Things don't happen the way I want them to happen,

While you say it's okay and end up labelling them with the phrase, "It'll happen at the right time"

There's always that little voice inside me whispering, "I wish it happened now"

Then there are some days,

When there's nothing in the universe that can stop me,

While you say it's rebellious and end up labelling with the phrase, "If it's meant to be it'll be"

There's always this little hope that makes me believe, "The time is now and you'll see"

Today was today in a way I never imagined today to be. Today was right. Today was meant to be. Today, you'll see.
