Yesterday's Nightmare

I am shaking and shivering,

In my sleep,

Screaming a little too,

I've had nightmares before,

But this one is new.

Everything is burning,

The Earth is breaking up,

There's lava everywhere,

Where should we now go,

I'm screaming in the dream,

Or in real, now?

Do I jump from the balcony,

And wake up in real, how?

The heart keeps racing,

I cannot call anyone,

I don't know how I go back to sleep again,

I wish I was held somehow.
