With / Without You

This one specific memory made me smile today out of no where.

Do you remember sitting in that canteen of the Botanical Garden waiting for your chai and sandwich? You were so hungry that you made me run through almost half of the park without seeing one single leaf or flower petal. Now that I think about that afternoon, I don't mind skipping all the stuff and just run away with you, in this new city, with the winter sun above our heads and cold breeze messing my hair.

Do you remember almost getting lost in that fort? We just were going around the same place for over an hour and the moment we both figured out we are going in circles, we laughed so hard startling the pigeons hiding in nooks and corners! Honestly, I loved being lost with you, in this new city, with the sun setting behind the hills and our footsteps and laughter echoing in that place.

Do you remember, because these memories come out of nowhere and leave me smiling to myself as I go on to relive another day, another moment, another perfect day with you yet without you.
