Waiting For What?

It's like,

I know I've locked my doors,

Latched them properly,

Used multiple locks,

Old-school and the ones that require a 3 digit pin,

Or the ones that requires biometrics,

Like the unique characteristics of my iris,

Though you might say yours is better coloured,

Or the ones that require the spirals on my fingers.

I know,

I've locked all doors,

And there's no way back in,

With all the locks and boundaries now,

Then, why am I still looking for someone to arrive?

Who am I waiting for and why?

No one comes this way, anyway, anymore,

So, who's not coming?

And why am I still waiting?

When I don't want to unlock any of the locks?
