Two Thousand and Sixteen.

Just because everyone is rewinding their ‘such a bad year, 2016’ doesn’t mean I’m going to do the same. I’m the unconventional kind of a person. I guess that’s pretty much known to the people who’ve been reading my blogs since last 6 months. Yes, it’s been 6 months since I took Mid-Year Resolution of writing every single day to block my writer’s block. I’m really happy that I stuck to what I’d planned to do half a year ago.

But, coming back to New Year, I would just want to say to everyone that this year wasn’t as bad as internet is portraying it to be! I’m sure everyone had their ups and downs throughout the year but that’s how every year is. Some months must’ve been terrific and some must’ve been terrible. I’ve had the same share of good and bad throughout the year and I must say I wish I could stop 2016 from ending. I wish I could hold it a little longer and not let it end so soon.

This year was superb. It was realistic in every sense. I’ve had some great moments in this year, met good people and let go of people who didn’t care enough for me. It had changed me in many ways even though I didn’t want to change. But, for good.

It started with a writer’s block and I’m ending with some good poems, write ups reading good books and all the good and bad memories which I’ll cherish all throughout my life.

I’m not going to make a new year resolution because I don’t want to start over fresh or new. I want to continue the process of what I’m and making myself better with each passing day be it new year or not.

I really hope that 2017 is a continuation of all the goodness in this year.
