The Off-Beat Trail

I got drawn to a trail today,

And up I go,

Without thinking twice,

To find peace instantly,

Making me feel a little more alive.

Then comes another pull,

To go off the trail,

Just to see,

What's there,

And there was something,

I didn't expect,

A view, a scene, a vibe, a secret,

I have now kept,

That brings me smile,

Makes my jaw drop,

That best,

Just a little off beat,

And I could realise,

What it all meant,

To be there,

To see it all,

To witness something simply in awe,

To listen to the calling,

To find that trail,

Leading me exactly there.
