The Sibling Thing

Have you ever sat with your sibling,

And heard them talk about the time,

When either of you went through something catastrophic,

How they saw you move through that time,

What did they think of you,

Of that situation then,

And how they think of you now,

That you're out of the storm in some way?

Because I just did,

And we both shed tears,

For various reasons,

Of course.

And you know,

It's a privilege,

To have someone witness,

All your life's highs and lows,

With a front row seat,

To all the drama of life.
