The Numb One

There is no such new feeling today,

That is worth writing about,

But the same old one,

The numb one,

That often stays with me throughout,

Every day and every night,

Like a constant without a fight,

It doesn't really go away,

Though allows for good and bad ones,

To come but not stay,

Maybe it's working out for me in a way,

At least it's not as bad as it was,

Once in May.
