The Missing Feeling

Today had that missing feeling,

Of missing the train when you reach the station just a few seconds late.

Of missing having the perfect group photo because someone’s eyes were closed.

Of missing that very moment when you’re waiting for the milk to boil but it spills anyway.

Of missing something so close yet so far away.

Of missing something yours but not completely yours.
