Sunsets Are Never Same

No two sunsets are ever the same,

Because they're healing different things.

Like heartbreaks,

Even when it's caused by the same one person,

They bring a new sense of calmness,

And sometimes emptiness and loneliness,

Because, you, so badly, desperately,

Want to share your golden, orange, pink and purple sky with them,

But, there's something that stops you,

Something you can't really name.

Like hurt,

Caused by factors and decisions out of your control,

And the sunset just pauses everything,

Helping you soothe your heart,

Because, you, so sadly, painfully,

Have been burying every feeling in your already heavy heart,

But, there's something that calms you,

In this moment, during the sunset.

So, even though,

No two sunsets are the same,

They are there for you, always.
