The heat that engulfs the surface on this part of the Earth these days,
Leave life still,
With no breeze,
No air circulating through,
Not letting a single leaf move,
Just straight up sun sucking everything from here,
A single curtain sways in the windows,
A piece of trash rustle in the corner of the road,
Bringing life at stand still,
No movement,
No flow,
No rhythm,
Life, still,
In the heat.
