Space Between

The space between,

How I felt that day,

And how you didn't know about it,

Was one of the reason in the cons side

Of the pros-cons list I made,

Titled, Should I Call You (Again).

And that distance,

Weighed more than all the pros,

And eventually the space between I wanted to hear your voice and I need to be treated better,

Coincided with the fact that,

If you've to ask for bare minimum,

Then you don't have high standards,

But, you haven't been loved the right way yet.

You deserve it,

And hopefully, you won't have to explain it to anyone why.
