Sincere Condolences

I've more condolences for the versions of me that haven't been born yet,

Than for the versions of me who scarified themselves,

To make this version of me existing right now.

More condolences because I cannot be blind to the potential I've always had,

To create versions of me I would be proud of,

So damn proud of,

But I had to build this version of myself,

That has seen sacrifices from my potential versions,

To exist in this moment now.

And to be very honest,

This version that I'm now,

Was never in the plan,

But, it is here anyway,

Writing condolences and apology letters,

To the little girl who was always dreamy,

But never knew how to make them come true,

This version doesn't know either.

My sincere condolences to the future versions for this very reason.
