Simple Wishes

As I think of all the times gone by,

I remember how simple and smooth it is,

To be around each other.

To simply hold on,

To simply laugh,

To simply smile,

To simply exist.

I wish it wasn’t this tough to admit.

I wish it isn’t too late.

I wish it ain’t just me.
