It takes 10 seconds to send someone a text,

Asking how they are,

Maximum 3 minutes,

If you type like an old old old person.

But, it takes 1000000x hours,

To not text someone,

To not ask how they are,

And then to not continue to interrogate then,

If the "sound" of the message they sent seems wrong.

There's intent in both the situations.

An intent to initiate something,

And an intent to protect your own heart.
