Re-Recording A Cassette

Everything in life feels like I'm re-recording on an already full cassette,

It's scary to lose the old recordings,

But it's exciting to hear what new music life has for me.

Talking to someone new feels like I'm re-recording on an already full cassette,

I adore the music that's already on the tape,

But it doesn't play smoothly now,

It screeches,

It glitches,

It murmurs,

There's an only option to re-record new conversations,

And I'm not sure I like it entirely.
