Pretending I'm Okay

I pretend I'm okay,

Taking these long strides,

Into a future unknown,

With all my flaws and fights,

Trying to figure out one thing after another,

Working on side quests,

And pushing myself,

To go another mile,

In this uncomfortable phase,

Because that's the only way out,

And I'm in the middle of it,

So going forward is what I can do,

And pretend I'm okay.
