We leave some of our pieces,
In people that we meet,
Depositing a little,
Everytime we greet.
As bits and bits,
Settle over the years,
Comfortable as silences,
Even when things aren’t clear.
We walk away,
On paths unknown,
As we leave a piece of us,
Leaving the memories all alone.
