Pause

The sun will keep on rising,

The time will keep on ticking,

Work will forever be pending,

What I want you to do is,

Sometimes, pause,

Look at the sun rise above the horizon,

While listening to the clock ticking,

As work waits for you,

To breathe,

With your hands wide open,

Letting all the thoughts wash away,

In the cool July rain,

To pause,

To smile,

To live,

A little today.
