Life Happens

Life goes on,

On and on,

With youth making us feel younger,

But it's only turning us older.

And I feel sad,

For not just my own,

But for others,

When I see them hanging on to life,

As they live another day,

But life has changed them now,

And it is coming for all of us,

With full force,

And we can do nothing to stop,

Life from happening,

Life from leaving.
