July Is Not Julying

It's been 5 days,

And July hasn't been Julying,

The way July should July.

There have been too many steps,

But no direction,

There have been literally no motivation,

But only scrapes of hope,

There are more confusions,

Than questions or answers,

The words are there,

But they're not what I want to write.

So, of course,

I want to give up,

That's pretty obvious now,

And this time around,

There's no one to tell me to keep going either,

Only me, just me,

Being my own hero,

But also knowing that,

The hero needs saving too.
