It Doesn't Feel Right

It doesn't feel right at times,

All the things that happen,

Bringing people so close to you,

Yet keeping them at a distance from you,

Making you question the universe's intentions,

And wondering, if you asked for too much?

But, no, the realization that you experience— that you need more, that you deserve more than what someone is offering you will hit you silently but will move your heart in ways I cannot explain right now. It's not just the need, want, desire or what you deserve, it is what the universe owes you. Even if it doesn't feel like that on somedays.
