There are days I hop ahead,

With smile of my face,

And mischief in my heart. In the hopscotch of life,

There are days I hop back to the sad squares,

Wondering if I ever moved forward?

Whether the happy days were a reality?

In the hopscotch of life,

I’m the one winning by moving ahead,

And I’m the one losing too,

Coming back to square number 1.

I’m the contender and the competitor,
