Hope Glimmers

I simply smiled,

When someone told me I don't have to worry about my problems anymore,

That things are going to get easy now,

The only thing I need to do is,

Clear out my head.

Now, I literally laughed,

And asked,

How am I supposed to do that?

And if I knew how to do it,

Would you be telling me that everything is going to be fine now,

Wouldn't everything be fine if I knew how to do it.

But, I know,

I have hope,

And my hope glimmers,

Because someone else has hope too,

To make me feel better,

One day at a time.
