Close And Far

It both looks close and far away,

The future of mine,

With variables unknown on so many levels.

As days go by,

And progress is not visible in huge chunks,

But in tiny little things,

That sometimes seem like failures more.

With days looking like a replica of each other,

Mundane, boring and out of ordinary,

But with life lessons hidden in every session of overthinking.

The future looks both close and far away, Like life a few months or years away,

Or like life that we live in the next moment or next day.
