Boundaries Of Peace

This whole year,

Has been about protecting my energy,

While bot hurting anyone in the process,

But what people don't realise is,

That they're not the only ones whose feelings are on the line,

Is it so difficult to empathize,

I wonder at times,

Or just sympathize,

With someone when they become vocal,

About their boundaries.

This year has been about setting boundaries and protecting my peace and I'm not sure I'm doing justice to it.
