Boundaries And A Coup

I have made promises,

And I've kept, broken and made them again,

To protect my peace,

By setting boundaries,

And seeing them get destroyed too,

Then mending them again,

Giving in,

And giving up too,

But finding strength,

To navigate within my room,

While planning a coup de grace.
