Artist's Curse

I'm trying not to run off to situations that haven't happened yet,

Maybe because I don't want to jinx them from happening,

Or maybe because I'm scared that if I think about them then they won't be anything like my imagination when they happen in real time.

So, I note that I'm drifting away in my imagination,

In my day dreaming,

Of something I absolutely truly desire,

And I catch myself,

From creating fictional worlds,

With frictional situationships and characters,

That might never turn into reality.

Just because I imagined it.
