Array Of Emotions
Science says a human can feel about around 18 emotions on a regular day. Sometimes feeling multiple emotions at the same time.
Science also says that there are 27 uniquely defined emotions that a human feels varying from surprise to disgust.
Out of these 27 different emotions in all and 18 that we might feel everyday, I’ve been feeling one emotion constantly.
The feeling of constant sadness. I also realised a while ago that it causes just a fragment of a second to feel sad, but it takes minutes, hours, days, weeks, months and sometimes even years to overcome that feeling of constant sadness.
Why does this sadness hold so much power over us? Moreover, how do we let this sadness overpower us? Also, how do we take the charge back? Because, some of the other 27 emotions feel pretty good to me.
It engulfs me today,
From within like it’s hugging me,
For feeling so sad.
Little does it know,
That it is actually,
Making me sad.
