Aaj Ki Baatein

Today I've celebrated feats of my friends,

And have worried in their sadness,

I've heard stories of their progress,

And discussed when was the last time we met,

And while everything happened,

I've kept my sadness under wraps,

To avoid dimming their light,

And I'm waiting for that one day,

When they'll be smiling for my happiness,

And they don't have to worry about my sadness,

As I take small steps,

After I meet them after days.
