A Moment Or Two

At this point of time,

I'm simply confused,

Is the universe teasing me,

Or simply bullying me these days.

By giving what I want,

Then taking it away too,

Not letting me keep it,

For a while or two.

And in this momentary happiness,

What am I supposed to do?

Prepare myself for a loss,

Or be happy in that moment or two.

I want to keep it,

Hold it, cherish it too,

A little more than,

A moment or two.
