When the lights go dimmer,

And the air feels cooler,

The room feels emptier,

The heart lonelier,

I wish for a 100 things to go right,

But only 1 does rarely;

And in that moment,

Everything seems manageable,

Until I no longer feel alone,

In all this.

Haven’t felt like that in a while.
