Where do I start explaining about this year? I thought every other year went by fast, but the speed at which 2024 flew by was astonishing. It feels like it started just yesterday, but it also feels like January was a lifetime ago. So much can happen over a year, right? 

2024 was different than the last 2-3 years in many ways for me — personally, mentally, emotionally, physically and in every other way. I had my share of lows but my fair share of highs too. Those highs were often life lessons. But this year, life lessons didn't hurt me as much as they did in 2023/2022 or 2021. This year, I was strong. I faced things head-on and worked on multiple aspects almost every day. Growing and glowing, I learned new and old patterns and decided if I wanted to continue with them or not.

With that being said, writing hasn't been easier this year either. With no courage, heart or motivation to write for others, I, who was once a professional writer completely stepped back from writing for others. I wrote for myself here and for all those people who are here reading them. The biggest win for me would be writing in my mother tongue, Punjabi and I'm looking forward to writing more in the future.
